Welcome to my portfolio site! I am a life-long resident of the Pacific Northwest with a passion for nature photography. As a professional fish biologist, my career focuses on salmon ecology and ecosystem restoration. Away from work, I enjoy backpacking, sea kayaking, and snowboarding. I love capturing images of fish, wildlife, and landscapes to share with others, which I hope will inspire conservation of our natural environment. All my images are captured by strictly adhering to the established ethics of nature photography. My goal is to inspire preservation of natural landscapes as habitat for fish, wildlife, and plants, and for people who enjoy outdoor activities in protected wilderness areas. At least 10% of my annual profit is donated to non-profit organizations whose mission is conservation and restoration.
